The Types of Nysc Leave you should know
6 types of leave you should know:
- Casual leave/Camp Rest Leave
- Convocation Leave
- Marriage Leave
- Terminal Leave
- Maternity Leave
- Medical Leave
Casual Leave/Camp Rest Leave:
It is not officially noticed by Nysc but the employer decides this for the new coppers to settle down.

Marriage Leave:
14 days is given to a member who desires to get married during the service year to enable such a person to perform all the marriage ceremonies in any place he or she wants. However, any member who wants to apply for a leave for the marriage, the member can do so.
Terminal Leave:
Corp members are also eligible for a 3weeks terminal break at the end of the service year.
Maternity Leave:
A married or unmarried member who is pregnant shall be given twelve weeks’ leave. During this period of leave, she will be paid a full monthly allowance. However, she will not be given the annual leave of 21 days.
Medical Leave:
This medical leave is for corp members with terminal sickness which is usually recommended by the doctor from an approved government hospital or private and which is guaranteed by the State Coordinator.
